• Monday to Friday

Main duties:

• The maintenance coordinator supervises, coordinates and controls the activities of the residence's maintenance department (which includes 230 units), in order to keep the residence's interior and exterior spaces safe and in good condition; The coordinator will work with general management on prioritizing task lists.
• Ensures the upkeep of the building, premises, outdoor areas and equipment by assigning tasks to his/her team and him/herself.
• Manages the department's human, financial and technical resources, while respecting allocated budgets in collaboration with General Management.
• Carries out periodic checks and routine adjustments of equipment, according to the preventive maintenance schedule;
• Carries out daily building inspections, identifying anomalies, diagnosing problems and proposing solutions;
• Follows up on annual inspections with suppliers;
• Contributes to accident prevention and site safety, and is a member of the CNESST committee.
• Performs tasks related to building administration and the application of an emergency plan.

Qualifications and profile :

• High school diploma;
• 5 years or more experience in building maintenance (mandatory);
• Vocational training in general building maintenance (asset);- Very good physical condition (required)
• Very good physical condition (required);
• Fluency in French (required);
• Be available on call to respond to emergencies
• Driver's license recommended.
