    Our residence, located in Ville St-Laurent, is looking for nursing assistants for the following positions:


    • Part-time (4/15) evening position (3pm to 11pm), including every other weekend OR
    • Full-time evening shift (3pm to 11pm), including every other weekend
    • Salary $23 to $25 plus premium

    Main duties:


    • Ensure the provision and quality of care, assistance and hygiene activities
    • Establish and maintain a close relationship of trust with residents and their families
    • Rigorously monitor compliance with best clinical practices in the delivery of care, and ensure compliance with practical standards at all times
    • Participate in the orientation and integration of care and assistance staff
    • Actively collaborate in risk prevention and management in the workplace

    Requirements :


    • Member of the OIIAQ
    • DEP in Health, Assistance and Nursing (SASI)
    • Up-to-date CPR and PDSB
    • Fluency in French

Personal Support Worker

    Main duties:


    • Assist and provide personal care and comfort (hygiene, nutrition and hydration, elimination, clothing, etc.) according to their specific needs: help them according to their abilities, from simple stimulation to complete accompaniment.
    • Apply the principles of safe movement for the beneficiary (PDSB)
    • Apply and respect the rules in place for the prevention and control of infections
    • Domestic help: accompany and stimulate the person to continue certain tasks performed at home
    • Prepares and submits reports required for follow-up and control purposes, including accident and incident reports.
    • Serve meals in the dining room, ensuring compliance with dietary restrictions

    Requirements:


    • DEP in Assistance à la personne en établissement et à domicile (completed or in the process of obtaining) recognized by the Ministry or 1 year of training in nursing or SASI
    • Up-to-date CPR and PDSB

    We're looking for a director of care who's ready to get involved and take on exciting challenges at Villa Domaine St-Grégoire.


    Under the authority of the residence's Executive Director and in close collaboration with the Corporate Director of Health Care and Professional Practice, the Health Care Manager plans, directs, organizes and controls nursing and personal assistance activities, while ensuring the well-being of the clientele and staff for whom he/she is responsible. He/she establishes and maintains a close relationship of trust with residents and their families, as well as with the associated CIUSSS.


    What you can do with us :


    • Ensure the quality of services rendered by professionals and non-professionals in compliance with standards of practice, as well as laws and regulations applicable to the profession.
    • Ensure optimal management and accountability of the staff under her responsibility (approximately 25 employees), in collaboration with the Care Coordinator.
    • Oversee the coordination of activities with various organizations to ensure the provision of services required for the well-being and care of residents.
    • Document and analyze risk management to ensure continuous improvement.
    • Ensure that resident care and needs assessments are kept up to date.
    • Promote resident well-being, satisfaction and continuous improvement in the quality of care and personal assistance services.
    • Receive and analyze complaints, propose solutions and make recommendations to management.
    • Participate in the certification process and in implementing the recommendations of recognized accreditation bodies.
    • Plan and coordinate the training plan for care department employees.

    What you need to work with us:


    • Member in good standing of the Ordre des infirmières et infirmiers du Québec (OIIQ)
    • Minimum of (2) years experience in managing a care department would be an asset.
    • Experience in caring for elderly or frail clients (an asset)
    • Excellent organizational, planning and priority management skills.
    • Relational profile: close to people and accessible, with a customer service orientation.
    • Sense of ethics, judgment, rigor and professionalism.
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills in French, with English an asset.
    • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 suite software.
